Tuesdays@10 is a signature Zuckerman Institute initiative that aims to expose researchers at all levels to high-quality science and stimulate scientific discourse. The weekly lectures and associated events are designed to bring together the neuroscience community at Columbia and catalyze the conversations and collaborations that advance the discipline. This seminar series is open only to Columbia University. Columbia University researchers and members of affiliate departments are encouraged to attend and engage with the speakers.
The events occur every Tuesday (unless otherwise noted) during the academic year at 10:00 a.m. in the Jerome L. Greene Science Center, Kavli Auditorium, 9th floor Lecture Hall. A networking session kicks off the event, and the lecture begins at 10:30 a.m. All invited speakers join meetings with faculty, graduate students and postdocs at Columbia to continue the conversation after their seminar.
The speakers featured in this series represent various fields and techniques in neuroscience, and include invited guests of the Columbia Neuroscience Seminars, the Zuckerman Institute's Local Circuits Affiliates Program, and other special seminar series through a combined, collaborative effort of one or more of the following: Columbia's Zuckerman Institute, the Center for Precision Psychiatry, the Center for Theoretical Neuroscience, the Department of Neuroscience, the Doctoral Program in Neurobiology and Behavior and the Columbia Translational Neuroscience Initiative, and with support from the Kavli Institute for Brain Science. The selection process includes faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students from across Columbia's campuses in partnership with the Tuesdays@10 programming team.
Tuesdays@10 Seminars are open to Columbia ID holders only. If you are not a member of the Zuckerman Institute and would like to receive updates about these and other events, please sign up for the Zuckerman Institute Community Listserv.
