A conversation about jazz improvisation and neuroscience through music and dialogue.

January 30th, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Jerome L. Greene Science Center (9th floor lecture hall)

Helen Sung is a pianist, composer, educator and the Jazz Artist-in-Residence at Columbia's Zuckerman Institute.

Michael Shadlen, MD, PhD: Professor of Neuroscience; Principal Investigator at Columbia's Zuckerman Institute; Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute
Chris Washburne, PhD: Associate Professor of Music at Columbia University and the founder and director of Columbia’s Louis Armstrong Jazz Performance Program.

This event will be held in the Jerome L. Greene Science Center (9th floor lecture hall) on Columbia's Manhattanville campus. Reception to follow.
