Promoting scientific exchange and inquiry among early-career neuroscientists

The Zuckerman Institute Postdoc Seminars (ZIPS) is a monthly seminar series designed by and for neuroscience postdocs at Columbia.

ZIPS provides a casual forum for postdocs to present projects in various stages of development. Each session will feature 20-minute talks by two postdocs working in different fields of neuroscience. Following each talk, a 10-minute Q&A period will allow the speakers to receive feedback on issues ranging from style and clarity of presentation to experimental design and future project directions. Early-and late-stage postdocs are encouraged to utilize ZIPS to get wide-ranging feedback from fellow Columbia neuroscientists. All members of the Columbia community*, including faculty, staff, postdocs, and students, are invited to attend.

Seminars will be held every three weeks on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm in the Jerome L. Greene Science Center's 7th floor conference room (L7-119). A small reception is planned following the seminar.
