STEM Starters is back in person!!! Join us March 18th, 4-5 pm for hands-on activities involving water and its amazing properties in science

STEM Starters at Columbia University hosts an hour of water-themed experimental demos for local students! Come learn about what holds water molecules together, water's chemical powers, how water moves through our organs, what tiny critters are living in Central Park's ponds, and more! Content is geared toward a middle-school level background, but all ages are welcome!

Registration is free. Proof of vaccination is required at the door for admittance, and we require that a guardian for students 13 years and younger signs in their student(s) in person. Candid photos of the science stations will be taken during the event - please speak to a volunteer if you do not want to be photographed. Attendees will rotate between demo stations and talk with scientists as they learn. See you there!
