Associate Research Scientist - 189598

The Zuckerman Institute is seeking an Associate Research Scientist to lead and contribute to multiple ongoing neuroscience research projects. The successful candidate must possess demonstrated expertise in neuroscience, neuromodulation, and experimental research methodologies, including experience conducting studies examining the effects of ultrasound on neuromodulation. The candidate should have experience designing and implementing behavioral experiments, including working memory tasks, to evaluate changes in neural function. Experience investigating blood-brain barrier opening techniques and their effects on neuromodulation and cerebral perfusion mechanisms is highly desirable. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to collect, manage, and interpret complex experimental data, are essential. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research environment and contribute to scientific publications, grant applications, and the effective communication of research findings.
