The question guiding the Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute is a fundamental one: how does the brain give rise to thought and behavior and what happens when that process falters? Today, this question carries renewed urgency, sharpened by new tools, new collaborations and the rapid emergence of technologies like artificial intelligence that make understanding the brain and mind more pressing than ever before.

At the Institute, we approach that question through collaboration across disciplines and a commitment to fundamental discovery. This year has been one of remarkable momentum as our researchers continued to push the boundaries of neuroscience while embracing computational approaches that are opening entirely new avenues of inquiry.
