Celebrating The Book of Lightness and Forgetting featuring Shahzia Sikander and Scott Small, MD
The Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute, the Department of Neurology, and the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Columbia University invite you to an exploration of memory, identity and perception. Internationally renowned visual artist and Alan Kanzer Artist-in-Residence Shahzia Sikander, and Scott Small, MD, Professor of Neurology and Director of Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Columbia, will discuss their collaboration on The Book of Lightness and Forgetting and the intersection of visual art and neuroscience. Following the discussion, the speakers will answer questions from the audience.
