A specially designed community Wellness Center on the ground floor of the Jerome L. Greene Science Center, located at 610 West 130th St., offers free blood pressure readings and cholesterol tests to area residents. Wellness Center staff also provide health education materials and information on local health resources to community members.
The Wellness Center provides blood pressure and cholesterol testing to all who walk in. Visitors will be given a record of their results, as well as information on ways they can improve their health. Wellness Center staff will offer information on free and low-cost clinical resources in the neighborhood and within the New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center community.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
The Wellness Center will be closed on the following days: Thanksgiving Day, November 24, December 22, Christmas Day, December 29 and New Year's Day.
